Francesco Lauretta is an artist and a painter. He paints every single day as if wanting to prove to those who, in the past, judged the medium to be outdated, that they were incorrect and that painting in its countless declinations will continue to exist. Sometimes it looks as if he wants to rediscover all of these countless declinations of painting. On one hand there is a profound recognition of the masters, on the other hand a pleasure in being iconoclastic. At LdM gallery the artist will present his series of paintings dedicated to one of the most iconic motifs in art history, The Bathers.
