How Agora Alerts work:

 

  1. How do the Agora alerts work

As you know, Agora filters its content to adapt the search to your needs. With the alerts system you can receive weekly notifications when Agora finds new results of topics related to your interests. You can create several alerts with different content: job opportunities in different disciplines, projects related to what you are searching for, or events happening in your country.

  1. How to create an alert

Important: To create alerts you must be a registered user. You can do this by accessing the Login page.

  • Once registered, Accede access the platform with the data from your profile.
  • Access the filters system through the box Click here to filter content.
  • In the filters system, select Countries, Disciplines and Categories to customize the content of your alert and the results that we will be sending you.
  • Click on Create alert.
  • Insert a title for your alert and click on Save.
  • If you wish to, you can repeat the process with different search criteria.

You can also create an alert after having the results of a search with the filter system: you can simply convert the selection into a new alert pressing the button indicated for this.

Once the alert is created, you will receive periodically an email with the search results related with the filters selected.

  1. How to modify and alert
  • Go to your profile.
  • Click on the Sections box and select the option My alerts from the list. Your alerts will be listed afterwards.
  • Sliding your mouse over each alert a list will appear with the options: View results of the alert, Edit and Delete. Click the Modify option.
  • The Modify option will show you the filters system where you will be able to change your filtering criteria, deleting or adding new disciplines, categories or countries.
  • When you have finished modifying the alert, click on Update your alert.
  • A popup window will offer you the option, if desired, to change your title before saving.
  • Click on Save.
  1. How to change your email address from the alerts
  • Access your profile.
  • Click on the Sections box t and select the option My data from the list.
  • Insert your new email address in the boxes Email and Repeat Email from the form.
  • Click on Send.
  1. How to delete an alert
  • Access your profile.
  • Click on the Sections box and select the option My alerts from the list. Your alerts will be listed afterwards.
  • Sliding your mouse over each alert a list will appear with the options: View results of the alert, Edit and Delete.
  • Click on the Delete option.
  • A pop-up window will appear to make sure you want to delete the alert.
  • Click on Delete alert.
